Why www. Doesn’t Work on My Custom Domain
If you've set up a custom domain for your website through another domain provider and find that www.yourdomain.com isn’t working, there’s a common issue that could be causing this problem.
Make sure that the records you add to your domain are the ones below! Specifically, the CNAME record automatically handles "www.", so in order for it to work, it must be correct!
RECORDS TO ADD
A record / Host name: * / Value: 34.49.161.242
A record / Host name: @ / Value: 34.49.161.242
CNAME record / Host name: _acme-challenge / Value: This will be a unique value to you, used to authorize and confirm you own the domain.
* if the Value for the CNAME is producing an error, try taking off the "." at the end of "goog"
Please be sure to clear all CNAME records that are not the requested ones. (You may need to reach out to your domain provider for assistance!)
Erasing all nonessential information from the DNS settings should make your website point to your Beacons Page!

FAQ
Will my website be secured?
Yes! We setup and provide HTTPS automatically for your domain so that your visitors will always know that their privacy is protected with the lock icon 🔒 in the address bar. Advanced users: We provide the SSL certificate so if you already provide your own and run into errors, you should use the one that we issue.
